Spiritual Care
In the ongoing mission to ameliorate patient satisfaction, many experts are now encouraging caregivers to look at things in a different way—addressing patients’ spiritual care needs. As a special part of I AM Care’s program we provide spiritual care for our clients which include:
- Singing Hymns
- Reading Scripture
- Music therapy mostly from their era
- Attending Religious Services
Studies show that music and scripture reading has been instrumental in providing healing for those who suffer from dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Furthermore, “The Beryl Institute, a global organization dedicated to improving patient experience, released a white paper on “The Critical Role of Spirituality in Patient Experience” in December 2015. It has become one of the most downloaded papers in the institute’s history, said institute president Jason A. Wolf, Ph.D.”
